War Zone-Right Gone Wrong
Переглядів 1252 години тому
Lying isn't all that serious, is it? In this episode, Dr. Bruce Becker takes us to a war zone involving Ananias, Sapphira, the apostle Peter, and Satan. This is the third war zone in this series where we see Satan influencing human hearts. Satan tempted Ananias and Sapphira to lie about something that was initially good and right. Sadly, we hear about the consequences of their lie and how God m...

I understand that we cannot begin to fathom God’s conception of time, as it is a human construct and God lives outside of it. I also understand that God can restore to life all those that have lived, are living now and will live in the future , as he knows every sparrow that falls from the sky, that is how boundless his knowledge of all living things are. Yet, if God knows that we are bound by constraints such as time and most of us are subject to the control of men ruled by Satan and evil, why make us suffer, knowing that we are powerless to end any of the ills of the world, incapable of governing our own footsteps and doomed to destroy one another and the universe as we know it?

How hard would it be for your god to say explicitly “thou shalt not own and enslave any person”. Took me seconds to write that. Your all knowing, not bound by time god knew exactly that “his word” would be used to justify the slave trade, that children would be born into slavery, and if their mother was a slave, that is their fate as well. YOUR GOD KNOWS ALL, so let’s be straight: your god cared more about fabric and shellfish than condemning slavery, he could not even say this was absolutely wrong in the way consensual non marriage sex is. Your god watched the slave child’s mother get beat, sold, and killed. He watched the apologists of slavery. He couldn’t make himself get out of his chair to write just one last commandment, those days are arbitrarily over. Imagine if that child knew that your god did at least take a firm and clear stance, that he knew if was wrong, that god cared about what these evil slaveholders did, not just if they repented. I would give that to him, I would tell this child that slavery is ALWAYS wrong and evil, that a human being cannot own another, that this life is a living hell for him. The same moral compass that I have that goes against god on issues of sex also provides me with courage to say slavery is always wrong. And Christian’s have the audacity to say they are a moral authority? That butt sex is just so gross and needs to be condemned, but owning people is just not gross enough. I would give this kid the commandment god didn’t give, one that is moral secularists don’t have trouble shouting without needing to think about it: Thou shall never own and enslave another person, it is an abomination This pastor would likely respond in the following manner, he first tells the kid that he needs at least a solid hour to explain gods view of slavery, the intricacy of the issue, the different kinds of slavery over time, the strict rules that god did command that would, you know, “kinda sorta over thousands of years set the stage for humans to ponder a way out of slavery but they couldn’t just stop it that would actually harm you and other slaves there needs to be more accepted societal change or it won’t work and god never CONDONED slavery so we can read between the lines that he likely only supported certain kinds of slavery for those wretches that weren’t his chosen people… wait I didn’t mean that, I mean he created rules so that his chosen people would treat their slaves “better” and isn’t that an amazing god and besides you shouldn’t be worried about your suffering or your mom being sold you actually need to repent yourself and then Jesus will fill your heart while still not not condemning slavery but he doesn’t need to that’s not his job… isn’t that an amazing story and doesn’t it show how much god actually loves you??” Condemning slavery is not controversial. It’s clear. It’s moral. It’s right. Was your god too timid? He sure was bold in denouncing butt sex, mentioned that rule like six times… Was he impotent and incapable of taking a stand, a weakling to the culture? Was he truly just indifferent? Did he forget? Was he going yo get around to it but then got distracted with that child torturing resurrection thing? Maybe he wrote it in code, we need some codex to find it spread throughout the Bible? It can’t be that the truth is as simple as presented, that Christians worship a repugnant supernatural dictator that tortured the very beings he created because they behaved in ways he hates but also how they are made exactly as god intended. Push all Christians to the outskirts of society if they can’t clearly condemn slavery and say their god was and is wrong on the issue. This is kind of a joke, you know these cultists can’t think in such a way, so the only alternative is to mock them, fire them, hate them, disrespect them, maybe whip them just a little, and permanently take their abhorrent voice out of the public square. Too harsh? Do you condemn that action? Don’t worry, at least be comforted knowing your mom wasn’t raped, whipped, tortured, sold, separated from her child, or killed by her “master,” though I don’t think that would bother you all that much do long as you have your religious freedom and the celestial orgy is still waiting for you after you die. As a last note, just remember that the Christian god doesn’t care how we treat each, you can easily get into heaven as a slaveowner that followed the 10 commandments and believed in Jesus, so one more reason to ditch this repugnant cult is because otherwise if you are unlucky enough to go to heaven, guess who you get to hang out with?? Not the slaves that practiced any African based faiths, they are 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Bible instructs us to judge over fellow believers but not to judge others from other beliefs. Christians don't know their Bibles, then steer by opinion and quasi-morality. 1 Chronicles 5:9-13. Read and know your Bibles.

For those who truly come to know The LORD through Jesus Christ, it is not pretending, but rather it is a knowing with every fiber of one’s self (with the exception of physical sight) that Christ Jesus is: • The Way • The Truth • The Life Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Everyone of us who comes to this truth realizes that prior to this truth, we were lost. It is embedded in the Faith, that those who have the Faith, know that those who don’t have the Faith, are lost. And if you have a loved one who is lost, then you would want to help that loved one. Whether you agree or not, and whether you will be lost, or be found, this comment attempts to answer your question. The song “Amazing Grace” also may help answer your question as to why someone who has Faith would want others to find it as well. #AmazingGrace

Pastor Mike forgot one important part when speaking of indoctrination - that it is the process of teaching others to accept a position UNCRITICALLY. Don't question or analyze things; just accept it because it is in the bible. Also, found it interesting that he chose to bring in talking points about abortion (life starting at conception) and women's rights to choose when assessing the source on which your doctrine is based. IF life began at conception, then god's a murder and condones abortion in Numbers 5 (and murders an innocent child in 2 Samuel 12; the child became ill for days and then died; why didn't god just take the baby immediately without allowing the child to suffer). I know that the church would say that god's ways are not our ways and who are we to question or understand god...but it is really hard to look at this and not come to the conclusion that god is not at all loving and is cruel. That's what doctrine taught me.

Do Christians hear themselves correctly, read the comments here, every one of you sound like your trying to trick each other into believing that your the wisest most godly member of the church the world's ever seen. To you all, that looks great, it's like talking football to a football player isn't it. But what happens when you talk sports to a geek, the geek thinks your an imbecile don't they, the geek is spending effort of thought on cellular biology and atomic physics and math and your comparing balls thrown or caught. That's how Christians sound to sinners, you sound unintelligent. But wait, what do you CHRIST LIKE ANGELS care what sinners think of you? Did Jesus tell you somewhere that the sinners were your enemy or something? I think it's brilliantly clear to even the weakest minds of all times, sinners are your PATIENTS your responsible for these people it's your entire job WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You sit around showing off to each other who knows what verse, and who understands what verses in what way but you couldn't talk sense to a five year old and have him walk away convinced that you were right at all. It's flat out disgusting. Are you demon possessed worse than myself, sure on the outside (the culture of MAN the society of man) you appear pure as snow. You pay your taxes, you pay your debts, you hold your jobs, you take care of your family and your kids. You obey mans laws and regulations and your proud of how much of a challenge all of that is but none of it is GODS way. You wouldn't have to pay taxes if you all followed God's will. You wouldn't have to hold a job or take care of your kids. Remember Adam and eve So stop with the pride about not being homeless and about being a solid member of society because if your pride is that your a SOLID MEMBER OF THIS SOCIETY your basically saying you condone the trajectory it's been on for the past thirty years. Talk to the sinners ..... So that they understand what your trying to tell them Period Don't ever bring up God or Jesus. They don't believe that sht at all. But if you convinced them of how and why what they are doing is wrong from their own perspective, they might find out that you Christians who follow Jesus actually bowed your heads and gave up your pride in order to save these sinners from destruction And believe me if you don't, your a bit more guilty than they are. You've been READING the Bible and have no idea what it's talking about

Of course I would sin. The devil is only one third of the problem. The world & our sinful flesh are also why we sin. Are we good? NO! God is the only one who is good. In Mark 10, a man asked Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life & he called Jesus "Good Teacher." Jesus asked him why he called him good & then he told the man "no one is good except God alone." Through Jesus sacrifice on the cross for our sins, God sees us as perfect (good).

Pastors, men like this fella,by men,are castigated as "new age and a message like this is always mocked as "social issues"and for a major reason.I find NOT ONE scripture in the Bible that that expressly and strictly and EXPLICITLY says in point blank terms a decree against domestic violence such as something like "Let no man of ye be found among thee that raise thy hand against in violence of anger the wife thou hath chosen as mother of thy children lest thou be,in my wrath struck down like one struck down by the thunder bolt this sayeth the Lord thy god that ye mayest learn to fear the Lord o'israel for I am the Lord thy god."JUST ONE verse like this is all it would take to convince me the Bible isn't a chauvinists book. That's all it would take.JUST ONE. Yet I find complete SILENCE on that specific topic amid all other topics that the Bible does discuss AT LENGTH. Ponder THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand the cute analogy. Many children are not rescued. Many children (and adults) are suffering horribly and are dying. So where is God when it hurts so badly? Undoubtedly, Jesus suffered, but it doesn't make my pain any easier. It begs the question - Jesus suffered horribly so that we would have to suffer horribly too? Why God doesn't stop the pain and suffering?
